Songkran Festival is also known as Water-splashing Festival it is the Thai's New year Celebration on every 13-14-15 April and it inherited for a long time. It celebrates water as a ritual of washing away negativity. People celebrating Songkran take part in a traditional pouring of water that symbolises washing away bad luck and sins from a person’s life.
Songkran’s Day is the time of happiness and a long weekend of the year, people are going out to celebrate the festival with joy. This festival is one of the most beloved attractions for tourists coming over to join and celebrate the Songkran Festival.
As April is the hottest month in Thailand people use water guns to splash water at each other for some quick cool-off.
